Google May Be Planning to Hire Qualcomm Engineers for its 2nd Gen Smartphone Chip

The newly introduced Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro have been equipped with one of the best cameras among all the modern Android based smartphone. Google has made some innovative hardware-software integrations which resulted in such impressive cameras. Google is planning to hire for new team based in San Diego for camera image signal processor design.

The senior director at Google Mike Coulter posted a hiring announcement on LinkedIn where he expressed that the company is planning to form a Sn Diego-based Camera ISP design as well as verification team. Mike Coulter was the VP of Engineering at Qualcomm prior to joining Google. Some people are speculating that Google is trying to hunt for the talent from Qualcomm which is also based in San Diego. Google is also working on 2nd generation Tensor chip which is expected to be announced later this year.

Samsung is Planning to Come up with a Dual Folding Phone Equipped with S-Pen Holder

Samsung is famous for its gripping command on foldable technology which is apparent from the patents registered over the years. Samsung has just released its Flex foldable technology at CES event. With the foldable smartphone lineups that has got Z Flip and Z Fold already in the market, Samsung is looking for introducing foldable smartphones one after the other.

Now reports are that Samsung is coming up with a dual folding phone with an S-Pen holder. Samsung Galaxy Dual Fold may be the first Z-style foldable phone concept which is accompanied with S Pen stylus holder. The phone will feature two hinges and three parts of the screen. When you will fold it, some portion of the back will be sandwiched between the screens. There will be two cut-outs on the right-side of the foldable phone’s back. These cutouts are for magnetically attaching the stylus. The stylus fits perfectly in cutouts and will not fall even when the phone is unfolded.

Google is coming up with new way to track its users

Google is tracking the people all across the web for quite some time now and they are using the results to display the ads of their choice. With this the company was able to generate $65.1 billion in revenue. Most of this revenue came from the ads during the 3rd quarter of 2021. it is a 41% increase from the last year.
Google is trying its level best to keep their business going up and running, as there are many competitors who have started to become more skeptical of the constant surveillance of company’s users in order to serve more useful ads.
Recently, Google has announced that they are tarting a new tracking project known as ‘Topics’. With Topics API for the Privacy Sandbox, the search engine giant is planning to group the web into 300 topics with more additions as the project rolls out. When the users hit one of the topics their ID is associated with them.
The company has not started providing the service, however once it will roll out researchers who have reservations will finally understand how Topics works and will answer any privacy concerns.

iPhone 13 Users Are Reporting Annoying Pink Screen Issue

Just like its predecessors, iPhone 13 series was also received well all around the globe. This lineup was launched in September 2021 and almost more than 40 million iPhone 13 models were sold in the holiday season. But this series is facing an annoying software issue.

Many iPhone 13 users have reported that they are facing a pink screen issue which is making the phone unusable and forces you to restart. According to Apple, this issue is caused by a software malfunction rather than a hardware problem. One user said that his iPhone 13 screen has turned into pink and started to crash randomly. Though Apple has replaced the models facing the issue but more users are now reporting this issue and since then no replacements have been made. This is because according to Apple, this is just a software issue and it will be automatically solved with future iOS update. It should be mentioned here that the cause of the pink screen issue is just random one. For many users it happens during the GPS navigation and for some it happens while taking the photos.

You will soon be able to transfer WhatsApp data from Android to iOS

The development team at WhatsApp is planning to deliver chat history migration feature between Android and iOS. It was revealed by famous tipster WABetaInfo that WhatsApp is soon launching Android-to-iOS chat transfer tool. WhatsApp already lets the users to transfer their data from iPhone to Samsung and Pixel device. However there was no direct method for transferring their data to iOS and the users have to opt for 3rd-party applications.

It has been reported that once implemented, WhatsApp will ask the user to grant permission in order to import chat history before starting the process. For migration, both the devices should have WhatsApp installed. Other details regarding the update are still unknown as it is under development and is currently unavailable to the beta users.

Xiaomi 12 Ultra Will Be Equipped with World’s Best Phone Camera

According to some reports the phone will feature a large rear camera module which will cover almost the entire width of the smartphone. The camera unit has also is also expected to support rectangular shape with a centrally located circular interior section that has got all the camera sensors. The smartphone will feature curved display with centrally placed hole-punch for the selfie camera. This smartphone is also expected to feature a 6.6-inch AMOLED 2K display and it will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. This smartphone is expected to launch in February.

Apple is Planning to Launch a Cheap iPhone Along with a New iPad Air

The iPhone SE lineup has got some of the cheapest iPhones on Apple family with the latest combination of hardware and software. Now there are some rumors circulating that Apple is going to launch another iPhone SE model in Spring this year.

According to some reports, iPad Air will boast Apple’s fastest SoC for the handsets and the A15 Bionic. It has got a 12MP ultrawide front-facing camera with the Center Stage support. It is a feature that keeps you in the frame when you move around. Some models will get 5G support with quad-LED True Tone flash.

When it comes to design, the screen will be 10.9-inch Liquid Retina panel with slim bezels and also a Touch ID button located at the bottom. The colors will also remain the same with Silver Green, Space Gray, Sky Blue and Rose Gold. Both new iPad Air and iPhone SE will go official during the 2nd quarter of 2022.
