CES 2022 has come up with loads of new smartphones as well as gadgets. For Lenovo, one of the main attraction in the show was Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 laptop. It is a 3rd generation laptop and it features an 8-inch secondary display with 17-inch main screen. The 2nd panel of ThinkBook is shifted to keyboard deck and has been transformed into full-color LCD screen. The 8-inch 800×1200 LCD screen uses an integrated digitizer layer and it also includes support for a stylus.

The main screen of the laptop has got a 17.3-inch IPS display with 3K resolution. Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 runs on Windows 11 with loads of orientations as well as options. It has been powered by 12th generation Intel Core processor plus it is equipped with 32GB RAM and 69WHr battery pack.

Gaming and tablet is not an ideal combo but Asus is planning to change this perspective with the introduction of ROG Flow Z13 which is termed as the world’s most powerful gaming tablet. Asus has fitted this tablet with the latest processors from Intel and Nvidia’s RTX 3000 series GPUs. Flow Z13 is a hybrid of tablet and laptop with an attachable keyboard and a 13.4-inch screen. The screen comes in either 1080p 120Hz or 4K 60Hz but both of the options have got Adaptive Sync, Dolby Vision support as well as color accuracy which is validated by Pantone. The tablet will be 12mm thick which makes it very highly portable.

Flow Z13 has been equipped with a kickstand and it can be opened up to 170º in order to hold the display at a very convenient angle. It is a Windows-based tablet which will allow you to run all the PC games. Though the tablet is very slim but it is packed with power. Asus has empowered the tablet with Intel Core i9-12900H, one of the most powerful laptop processors at present. There are i7-12700H and i5-12500H options with Intel Xe GPU integration. It has got up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB PCIe 4.0 storage and it has been paired with Nvidia’s RTX 3050 Ti GPU.

Samsung has announced numerous new MicroLED, mini-LED and QLED TVs ahead of the official Consumer Electronics Show 2022. on top of the list is the new range of MicroLED TVs that Samsung’s claims, make use of the 25 million micrometer-sized LEDs in order to perfectly control the backlight of the screen.

It is actually the continuation of the modular MicroLED known as the Wall that Samsung has announced back at CES 2018. It is known known as the world’s first commercially available MicroLED TV and it will be made available for the retail in various sizes of 110”, 101” and 89” with a hefty price tag.

Neo QLED TVs:

Samsung is premiering munerous new mini-LED TVs as Neo QLED TV lineup. Frame TVs:

With some staggering additions to its Micro-LED and mini LEDs we can expect a lot from the next version of the Frame TVs. The next generation of the Frame TVs will provide new matte display which will be supported by anti-glare, anti-fingerprint and anti-reflection properties. Just like the previous years, the Frame will be available in different sizes varying from 32 to 85 inches.

The tech giant Apple has got a new milestone on Monday when it become the first ever company to hit the market cap of $3 trillion during the intraday trading before closing of the day at $182.01. it was the first ever company to hit $2 trillion back in the August 2020. The company has recorded very high revenue since COVID-19 pandemic has hit the globe. Apple products were sold in huge numbers as peoplw started work from home. This let the overall profits of the company to increase across the board.

Apple company sold almost 27 million pairs of the AirPods model over the holidays, driving 20% year-over-year growth for wearables during the quarter, from the recent data of Counterpoint Research, it has been revealed in China that the company continued to lead for the 2nd consecutive month beating the rivals like Xiaomi and Vivo. Apple biggest selling product is iPhone and the services business of Apple grew 25.6% year-over-year and it delivered more than $18 billion in revenue during the quarter. The valuation of $3 trillion is a very impressive achievement. However, Apple’s counterparts are not that far behind as both Microsoft and Alphabet are at $2 to $3 trillion range on the other hand Amazon and Tesla are resting in $1 to $2 trillion range.

The next big smartphone chip from Samsung i.e. the Exynos 2200 is finally launching on 11th of January. The chip with the RDNA 2 graphics from the AMD is expected to be on the upcoming Galaxy S22 lineup with huge improvement in gaming performance. The launch date is in the week after the CES 2022 and rumored Galaxy S21 Fan Edition launch date so there is a chance that both of these announcements will happen simultaneously.

However S21 FE will be be featuring in the Exynos 2200 SoC as it is an older handset that has been delayed till date. It should have been launched earlier but was reportedly delayed due to lack of components. As for as Exynos 2200 is concerned it is an SoC which is made made in collaboration with AMD which is considered as one of the biggest chip makers in the industry. Exynos 2200 will have an RDNA 2 based GPU which is used in AMD’s highest end desktop GPUs, the RX 6000 series. RDNA 2 is used in PlayStation 5 as well as Xbox Series X consoles. The SoC will be equipped with a ray tracing support which will be the first one for the mobile phones. So it will be very interesting to see how the smartphone gaming develops with Exynos 2200 launch.

According to a report, Google is using its recent acquisition of North to make its mark on the virtual spaces. Google has brought the smart glasses maker in the summer of 2020 after the project failed to introduce a successor to the initial gadget. At that time, it was unclear what the company is intended to do with North though it now seems like a successor to Glass might be in the works. Although, North was working on other projects when it was acquired, its most notable gadgets was the Smart Glasses which paired the prescription lenses with projected display. It has been equipped with a built-in mic and ring controls which you wore on your finger.
