Amazon has launched its next generation Kindle Paperwhite that has got a larger 6.5-inch display as well as USB Type-C charging. The newly introduced Kindle Paperwhite has been launched in two different models i.e. basic Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Paperwhite Signature edition. The latter will be equipped with more storage soace of 32GB and it also includes auto-adjusting light sensor. In addition to the new Kindle Paperwhite, Amazon is also planning to host a hardware event on 28th September where they are going to unveil the new Echo devices and services.
Both newly introduced models come in Black colour option and it features 6.8-inch glare free display with 0.8-inch over 6-inch screen available on the existing Kindle Paperwhite. The display also include 10mm bezels along with flush-front design. The pixel density are not changed and it will have the same 300ppi count that is available on previous model. Amazon has said that it has enhanced the display with 10 percent additional brightness at maximum setting in order to provide comfortable experience. It has also got an adjustable warm light and white-on-black mode to allow the users read the books in both day and night time depending on their preferences. Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition has got auto-adjusting front light that adjusts display brightness automatically based on ambient lighting. When it comes to storage, Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition has got 32GB storage and the all-new regular Kindle Paperwhite has got 8GB storage.
