Apple will replace Lightning Ports with USB Type-C next year

According to reports, the upcoming Apple AirPods lineup will be equipped with a USB Type-C charging case. It is believed that Apple will launch USB-C port update in the coming year. Apple has now decided to replace Lightning Ports for all its devices with USB Type-C ports because of the ruling of EU that named USB Type-C as standard charging port.
According to Ming-Chi Kuo who is an analyst at TF International Securities, Apple will launch USB Type-C charging cases in 2023. He also added that this year the upcoming AirPods Pro 2 will be supporting Lightning port. It is still not confirmed yet that the upcoming Apple AirPods Pro will have a USB Type-C port or not. We can expect official announcement from the management in the coming months.
