One year ago, Instagram had confirmed that they are working on the new design for the stories that will let the users to vertically scroll the stories. This change is actually an attempt to compete with TikTok which offers vertical scrolling in its app. Now Instagram has been making stories which are more focused on the videos compared to the static content.

Now that the social network is testing the new feature in Brazil and Turkey. Until now the stories were just horizontally scrollable. However, with the vertical scroll, you can jump from one user’s story to another’s while a horizontal swipe will toggle between various different stories from the same user.
In last month i.e. December 2021, Instagram was also testing an increased maximum limit for the videos posted in stories which has increased from 15 seconds to 60 seconds. Instagram has been coming up with multiple updates in order to improve user’s experience. It is also working on the new way to sort the feed and also on an option to customize the profile grid according to your preferences. Since this feature is in the testing phase we can tell you when exactly will this feature roll out. It is also possible that Instagram may decide against this feature once the testing phase is finished.

Samsung is suffering various delays for its smartphones and its Exynos chipsets. Samsung Galaxy S21 FE was supposed to be launched in 2021 but it has become official earlier this month. The same goes for 1st Exynos x AMD chipset, the Exynos 2200 which has been delayed again. Exynos 2200 was supposed to be released in 2021 but it was delayed to 11th January 2022. but now it has been postponed once again.

Samsung has also deleted the original tweet which mentioned the date 11th January. Samsung will unveil Galaxy S22 series on 8th February this year and sales are expected to start on 24th Feb. The continuous delays suggest that there are problems in the background at Samsung. The company was expected to unveil mid-range chipset, Exynos 1200 in November 2021. The chip was spotted in benchmarks with Galaxy M33 5G but there is no word on the chipset or phone till date.

When it comes to fast charging, Chinese phones are always ahead of their competitors. Xiaomi, Vivo and various other companies have got the phones which are powered with 120W fast charging that can fully charge a 45,00 mAh battery in just 15-20 minutes. Now Xiaomi and Oppo are trying to hit 200W fast charging speeds. This means we can expect 200W fast charging in Oppo/Xiaomi phones very soon.

200W fast charging speeds was demonstrated by Xiaomi last year on Mi 11 Pro. The demonstration showed that 200W fast charging tech that can fully charge a 4,000 mAh battery completely in just 8 minutes. The battery can be charged 50% in just 3 minutes and 10% in 44 seconds. It has not been confirmed by Xiaomi that when 200W fast charging technology will be available for smartphones and chargers. However it has been reported that they are planning to mass-product it in 2nd quarter of 2022. On the other hand, Oppo started the mass production of 125W fast charging technology in 2021 and it is still not confirmed that when the company follows up with 200W fast charging.

WhatsApp and Signal are two of the most widely used instant messengers with end-to-end encryption support. Both of them have got pretty similar features. Both instant messengers have one thing in common and that is Brian Acton who was the co-founder of WhatsApp and now he has been appointed interim CEO of Signal.

The creator of Signal app Moxie Marlinspike announced that he is resigning from the post of CEO at Signal Messenger LLC. He has now appointed Brian Acton as an interim CEO while he will focus on looking for the new candidates. Acton who was the co-founder of WhatsApp with Jan Koum in 2009 and also co-founded as well as funded the Signal Foundation with Marlinspike in 2017 is currently at the post of executive chairman of Signal. Marlinspike will remain on board and his involvement in Signal app will remain the same as he is just leaving the CEO position.

Motorola now a days is working on its 2022 version of Moto G Stylus. The detailed images of the phones have already been leaked and now have also got the full specifications of the smartphone. When it comes to design of the phone it will be equipped with a 6.78-inch LCD panel with 1080p resolution as well as a smooth 90Hz refresh rate.
