Meta has just recently announced that it will be introducing 3D avatars to Instagram stories and for Facebook Messenger it will be rolling out the updated avatars. The new update will let the users in the US, Mexico and Canada to show their digital avatars in stickers, Facebook profile pictures and feed posts.
The 3D avatars will bring something new and unique for the users from diverse backgrounds . In order to support abled people and promote inclusivity the update has also come up with wheelchairs that can be used in stickers in Facebook, Instagram Stories and Messenger chats. You can also DM the stickers. The company is also trying their level best to improve the avatars by adjusting various facial features and also giving more detailed and authentic look.
The new update will let the users to use the same avatar on different platforms including Facebook and Instagram. Users will also have the option to create individual avatars for different platforms. The company introduced the avatars back in 2020 for competing with Snapchat’s Bitmoji feature and they are continuously enhancing them ever since. Now the company has introduced new avatar options for eyes, noses, hairstyles and beards in order to make them more personalized.

WhatsApp Will Soon Put a 2GB Limit on Chat Backups
Google Drive backup on WhatsApp is a very handy feature that allows you to save years of your chat history with just a single tap. This makes it very easy to move to any other smartphone without copying all of the stuff manually.

This new development was pointed out by WABetaInfo who discovered this information while going through the source code of WhatsApp’s latest beta version. The codes reveal (“Google Drive backup changing”) followed by the notifications that will warn you of your backup limits (“Google Drive almost full”). Once this limit is reached, WhatsApp will alert you about this with a message “Google Drive limit reached”.

backup limit, but previous leaks have shown that it might be 2GB only. This is a very sad news for all of us with several GBs of data lying around. This report is most likely to be true as Google is also limiting the cloud storage for all other services as well. Just recently Google Photos put a limit on cloud backups and it appears that WhatsApp users will also face the same. Google may charge money for bigger backups like Google Photos. Google May Be Planning to Hire Qualcomm Engineers for its 2nd Gen Smartphone Chip

The senior director at Google Mike Coulter posted a hiring announcement on LinkedIn where he expressed that the company is planning to form a Sn Diego-based Camera ISP design as well as verification team. Mike Coulter was the VP of Engineering at Qualcomm prior to joining Google. Some people are speculating that Google is trying to hunt for the talent from Qualcomm which is also based in San Diego. Samsung is Planning to Come up with a Dual Folding Phone Equipped with S-Pen Holder
Samsung is famous for its gripping command on foldable technology which is apparent from the patents registered over the years. Samsung has just released its Flex foldable technology at CES event. With the foldable smartphone lineups that has got Z Flip and Z Fold already in the market, Samsung is looking for introducing foldable smartphones one after the other.
Now reports are that Samsung is coming up with a dual folding phone with an S-Pen holder. Samsung Galaxy Dual Fold may be the first Z-style foldable phone concept which is accompanied with S Pen stylus holder. The phone will feature two hinges and three parts of the screen. When you will fold it, some portion of the back will be sandwiched between the screens. There will be two cut-outs on the right-side of the foldable phone’s back. These cutouts are for magnetically attaching the stylus. The stylus fits perfectly in cutouts and will not fall even when the phone is unfolded.
Google is coming up with new way to track its users
Google is tracking the people all across the web for quite some time now and they are using the results to display the ads of their choice. With this the company was able to generate $65.1 billion in revenue. Most of this revenue came from the ads during the 3rd quarter of 2021. it is a 41% increase from the last year.

You will soon be able to transfer WhatsApp data from Android to iOS
The development team at WhatsApp is planning to deliver chat history migration feature between Android and iOS. It was revealed by famous tipster WABetaInfo that WhatsApp is soon launching Android-to-iOS chat transfer tool. WhatsApp already lets the users to transfer their data from iPhone to Samsung and Pixel device. However there was no direct method for transferring their data to iOS and the users have to opt for 3rd-party applications.
It has been reported that once implemented, WhatsApp will ask the user to grant permission in order to import chat history before starting the process. For migration, both the devices should have WhatsApp installed. Other details regarding the update are still unknown as it is under development and is currently unavailable to the beta users.
