The second tablet from Realme i.e. the Realme Pad 2 has brought some significant enhancements over its predecessor. This tablet comes in two finishes which are Imagination Grey and Inspiration Green. It has been equipped with a metal frame with the flat sides as well as a polycarbonate has been added on the rear end thus giving it s premium feel. The camera bump is noticeable but it will not make the tablet wobble when you will place it flat.
Realme Pad 2 has been empowered by Media Tek Helio G99 SoC which is sufficient for casual gaming and everyday tasks. It gives you good multitasking capabilities, letting you run multiple tasks ate the same time. Its wide display is ideal for content consumption. When it comes to software, the tablet runs on Realme UI with personalization features akin to Realme smartphones. There is no bloatware to halt the experience. However, it lacks the biometric authentication and it only supports 2D face unlock.
On the camera front, the Realme Pad 2 has been equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The primary camera takes some of the most decent photos. When it comes to battery, the tablet has got the battery that lasts around 2-3 days with heavy or casual use. It has been equipped with 8,360mAh battery. It supports fast charging, with 33W charger taking about almost 1 hour and 36 minutes to complete the charging process. Performance-wise, the tablet has passed the benchmark very well though it is not a gaming powerhouse. The sound quality has enhanced greatly when it compared with its previous model.
All in all, the Realme Pad 2 is basically media consumption device that lacks the accessories for the productivity. It has got high refresh-rate display, an updated processor and LTE connectivity.
