Huawei’s flagship phones the Pura 80 Series violate all the rules in the Smartphone Industry.
The Pura 80 series, which delivers substantial breakthroughs in camera technology, processing power, battery life, and connectivity, has been introduced by Huawei as part of the company’s expansion of its flagship portfolio. There are three models in this series: the Pura 80, the Pura 80 Pro, and the Pura 80 Pro+. Each of these models offers a unique collection of features, but they all have an emphasis on technologically advanced hardware and cutting-edge communication capabilities.
Designs and Presentations
The display on the Huawei Pura 80 is a 6.6-inch LTPO OLED panel that is flat and has a resolution of 1,256 by 2,760 pixels. Both the Pro and Pro+ variants come with bigger LTPO OLED panels measuring 6.8 inches, and both of them are covered by Kunlun Glass which is of the second generation. Every model is equipped with a 10-bit color depth and an adaptable refresh rate that ranges from 1 to 120 hertz, which guarantees smooth graphics and accurate color reproduction. System components and software
The particular chipsets that are powering the Pura 80 series have not been published by Huawei; however, the company says that the Ark Engine, which is included in the Pro and Pro+ versions, produces a 36% increase in performance compared to earlier generations. In addition to 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage space, the Pura 80 and Pura 80 Pro come standard with 12GB of random access memory (RAM). There is a choice between 512GB and 1TB of storage space, and the Pro+ variant comes with 16GB of random access memory (RAM). In contrast to the Pro and Pro+ models, which come with USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, the standard model only has a USB 2.0 port. All models are powered by Huawei’s most recent software platform, which boasts greater artificial intelligence capabilities and increased system efficiency.

In the Pura 80 series, the camera systems stand out as the most notable feature. A 50-megapixel primary camera with an aperture range of f/1.4–f/4.0 and optical image stabilization is included in the Pura 80. Additionally, it comes with a 12-megapixel periscope telephoto lens that has a 5.5x optical zoom, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 1.5-megapixel multi-channel spectrum sensor. An optical image stabilization system (OIS) and a variable aperture ranging from f/1.6 to f/4.0 are also included in the Pura 80 Pro and Pro+. Their telephoto cameras have a sensor with a resolution of 48 megapixels, an optical magnification of four times, an aperture of f/2.1, and the ability to capture tele-macro images. Moreover, the ultra-wide camera has been upgraded to 40 megapixels. A 13-megapixel ultra-wide selfie camera with autofocus is included in each and every model.
Battery in addition to Cost
The Pura 80 is powered by a battery that has a capacity of 5,600 mAh and supports both cable charging at 66W and wireless charging at 50W. Batteries with a capacity of 5,700 mAh are built into the Pro and Pro+ versions, which also come with quicker wired charging at 100 watts and wireless charging at 80 watts.
The Huawei Pura 80 Pro and Pro+ are now available in China. The Pura 80 Pro is priced at USD 905 for the 12GB/256GB variation, USD 975 for the 12GB/512GB model, and USD 1,115 for the 12GB/1TB version. The Pro+ is priced at USD 1,115. When purchasing the Pura 80 Pro+, the 12GB/512GB configuration can be purchased for USD 1,115, while the 12GB/1TB variant can be purchased for USD 1,250. There is currently no availability of the standard Pura 80.
