In 2020, WhatsApp introduced the Pay feature which allowed the users in India and Brazil to send and receive money with friends and family. This feature integrates with the country’s payment system but it has not made its way to all the markets. WhatsApp is now looking to expand the cash transactions into other countries which include USA.
According to some reports a digital system that is owned by Meta is preparing for the launch within WhatsApp. At the moment the service lets its users in the USA and Guatemala to send payments using a stable cryptocurrency called Pax Dollar that has its value paired with US dollar. It will serve as a competitor to apps like Cash App and Venmo and now functions as Meta’s payment platform following its recent rebrand.

YouTube is adding more stuff into its full-screen mode.
YouTube now a days are experimenting with filling more stuff into the full-screen video interface on Android platform. We can see the comments section as well as video description in the full screen mode which was previously a distraction-free mode. And now YouTube is planning to do almost everything in the full-screen that was previously limited to vertical interface.
The new full-screen interface will add some new buttons which you usually find below the video in the vertical mode. These buttons include a like, dislike, comments and share button. It also include an option to add the video to a playlist. When you will tap the title at the top you can also access the video description. In the new full-screen mode you can now no longer swipe up in order to view the suggested videos. Now there is a button in the bottom right corner that will provide you to access these.
Google Pixel Fold May Launch in March 2022
Google is planning to launch its first ever foldable smartphone i.e. Pixel Fold. This phone is expected to launch in 2022 with a little lesser camera than Pixel 6. The Google Pixel 6 lineup has got one of the biggest jumps in the quality of the camera since the Pixel phone.
This is just because of the older Pixel smartphones used regular 12MP cameras. This time Google has improved the cameras as well bringing them on par with the competition like iPhone 13 and Samsung Galaxy S21. With the upgrade camera sizes have been increased. Foldable phones don’t have the same quality cameras as flagship phones to reduce thickness of the phone. The Pixel Fold may come up with the same camera sensor which was seen on the Pixel 5 lineup last year. Instead of new GN1 sensor, Pixel Fold will be equipped with 12.2MP Sony IMX363 used since Pixel 3 for the main camera.
Facebook Will Now Help The Creators Avoid Apple’s App Store Fees
Facebook is now allowing the content creators to avoid the Apple’s App Store fee as they have launched a new bonus program in order to bring more creators to its platform. The bonus program is the web form for subscriptions that allow the creators to get the subscriptions of their fans outside an app through the Facebook Pay. This will let the creators to avoid Apple’s 30% commission on in-app purchases.
The CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg has said that when the people subscribe using this link, creators will keep all the money which they earn. This program will include the bonuses that will pay the creators from $5 to $20 for every new subscriber which they will get before the end of the year. The creators will earn a maximum of $10,000 in bonuses. According to Facebook, the bonus program is an invite-only that will be available in all of the 27 markets where the subscription feature is available.
Huawei Mate 50 May Launch in First Quarter of 2022 with Snapdragon 898
Huawei Mate 50’s launch was not confirmed the whole year due to the supply constraints as well as US ban. There were many launch dates but the launch has now been delayed to 2022. now according to some new reports, Huawei’s next flagship series will launch in the 1st quarter of 2022. the exact launch date has not been reported yet but if we believe in the earlier reports we can expect March 2022 launch.
Huawei Mate 50 was to be launched during 2020 but after the P50 lineup was delayed to July 2021 we are expecting the delay in Mate 50 series. Huawei’s Mate 50 supports Qualcomm’s next flagship chip i.e. Snapdragon 898. but unlike other smartphones featuring the same with 5G, Mate 50 will feature 4G connectivity because of the US ban. This phone will offer an LTPO display that can adjust its screen refresh rate in order to save the battery. This phone also comes with the satellite connectivity which will be used when cellular network is not available.
Motorola Moto G51 Launched With 5,000 mAh Battery
MotorolaMoto G51 5G has been launced in China as an update over the Moto G50 that became official few months ago. Moto G51 swaps out MediaTek SoC for Snapdragon chip as well as upgrades the display. Its display size has been increased to 6.8 inches and the waterdrop notch has been replaced by punch-hole selfie camera. Samsung Galaxy S22’s Design Has Been Leaked
According to the latest leak Samsung Galaxy S22 is looking exactly same like Galaxy S21. The design was leaked from a former employee who shared Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+. The backside of Galaxy S22 and S22+ looks same like Galaxy S21 and S21+. The display has got smaller bezels and thinner frame which provides full-screen look.
The display appeared to be flat when you compare it with the previous ones which are without curves around the edges. The displays are brighter that Galaxy S21 family. You can also see Android 12 like UI on the screen but since it is a Samsung phone so it is very unlikely to come with Android look. The Ultra model will come with a P-shaped main camera, S-Pen slot and symmetrical dimensions just like Galaxy Note phone. It is also reported that Galaxy S22 Ultra will be known as Note 22 Ultra.
