New iPad Mini Overview
This year has been particularly big for the Apple iPad. In March, Apple released a new iPad Air, the fifth-generation model, and then in the fall there were two new iPads Pro (11-inch and 12.9-inch) plus a radically different iPad, the tenth-generation model. There have been rumors of a foldable iPad—something which in comparison to the folding phones which open to be a mis-shaped, mis-sized tablet, seems a much better idea. But now, Ming-Chi Kuo, a fiendishly accurate predictor of all things accurate, has weighed in on the future of tablets for Apple. In a pair of tweets, Kuo first said “I think its unlikely Apple will replace the iPad mini with a foldable iPad in 2025, which may be contrary to what some media previously predicted. It’s because a foldable iPad will have a markedly higher price than an iPad mini, so such a replacement is not reasonable.”

Should You Buy an iPad mini?
The iPad mini is Apple’s smallest tablet device and the latest model features a new design, the A15 Bionic chip, a USB-C port, Apple Pencil 2 support, and more.Announced in September 2021, the iPad mini is among the oldest iPads in Apple’s lineup and it is midway through its product cycle. Apple does not seem to update the iPad mini regularly, leaving up to two and a half years between upgrades, and there is no immediate sign of a new model on the horizon. This means that now is still a good time to buy the sixth-generation iPad mini.
