Twitter has recently announced some new rules to consolidate user’s privacy. This development has come after a day when Parag Agrawal replaced Jack Dorsey as the new CEO of Twitter. Now under the new rules, Twitter has stopped the users from sharing the photos and videos of other people without their consent. These rules won’t be applicable to the public figures.
Twitter is also thinking of allowing the users, other than the public figures to ask the company to take down their photos as well as videos without their permission. Twitter has prohibited the users from sharing the address, contact information, private information, identity documents and financial account information etc. It also include the biometric data and medical records of others without their consent. Twitter has also prohibited the users from threatening to expose anyone’s private information publicly.
