Th famous encrypted privacy-focused email service i.e. Proton Mail has been around for years now. Since its launch it has grown exceptionally and it is offering into multiple other services like Proton Calendar and Proton VPN. Now the company is taking them all under one circle with its latest unification efforts which will see all the Proton services like Proton Mail which is brought together under single umbrella.
The CEO of Proton, Andy Yen has shared that Proton Mail will now be merged with all the other Proton ventures on a new website i.e. proton.me which will be the centralized hub. Users will have now a single account for all of the Proton services which include Proton Mail, Proton VPN and Proton Drive. It is basically a rebrand that won’t change much for you as an end user. However it is an important step to take as Proton has introduced more privacy-focused services.
